TREIBBALL ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND
Welcome to TANZ, the association set up for New Zealand Treibball enthusiasts.
TANZ provides official rules for NZ Treibball tournaments, and a formal structure of classes, awards, and titles.
TANZ's vision is for a sport that:

promotes and celebrates a natural, practical, working relationship between dogs and their people.

emphasises dog-friendly, positive competition.

is accessible to as many dogs and people as possible, regardless of breed, size, shape, and physical ability.

focuses on getting a job done, rather than on details.
NEWS
Congratulations to Helena Akesson and Echo, who became the first team in New Zealand to earn a TANZ award. Echo gained his Treibball Novice award (TRB-N) at a tournament hosted by Otago Canine Training Club on 11 December 2020 after winning the Novice class with a lovely qualifying run.
